Service

LicenseForge provides software tools for Shopify merchants to manage license keys, generated serial numbers, protected digital files, delivery emails, and customer license portals.

Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the products they sell, the accuracy of their license terms, customer support, refund policies, legal compliance, and ensuring that uploaded files and license templates are suitable for their business.

Digital Delivery

LicenseForge attempts to assign licenses and send delivery emails after eligible Shopify order events. Merchants should test each product configuration before selling publicly and should monitor failed or held deliveries from the app dashboard.

License Terms

Music license templates, software license terms, and downloadable license text are merchant-editable operational tools. They are not legal advice. Merchants should have their legal terms reviewed by qualified counsel.

Billing

Billing is disabled during the current MVP/private beta unless separately configured or agreed in writing. Do not assume paid subscription billing is active until pricing and billing terms are published.

Availability

LicenseForge is production-minded but currently beta software. We may update, improve, restrict, or suspend beta functionality as needed to protect merchants, customers, and the platform.

Security

Merchants should keep Shopify, email, storage, and app credentials secure. LicenseForge encrypts sensitive app data where practical, validates Shopify webhook signatures, and scopes merchant data by shop.
